Spanish scientists discovered in a region of our galaxy an
organic molecule which is a key ingredient of life.
Sugar (glykoaldefdi) was detected in an area located at a
distance of 26,000 light years from us and is the first
time detected in space. The area is called G31.41 +031 and
is one of the biggest bands to create new stars in our galaxy.
The researchers used the array of radio telescopes
«Rlateau de Vure» located in France and identified the presence
of sugar in the center of the region. The prosomeioseis made
the discovery after they showed that the sugar was created in
the region before a few hundred thousand years. The discovery
is considered particularly significant because scientists
estimate that there are many in the area of solar systems
and so sugar is likely to be in a hospitable environment for
the development of life and more specifically on some planets
of local solar systems.
